This book was really really great. It was sad when you think about what these people had to go through. Definately five stars!

This book was okay. The ending was anti-climatic, especially as they builded up the trauma and difficulties the main character, Nadira, suffers. I always hate it when people pick on people in books, though. [as in the older sister bossing Nadira around and calling her fat and lazy.]

    Eh, 3.5 out of 5.

This book was pretty good. I really like historical fiction so I just couldn't put it down. I wish the would of made a sequel or atleast another chapter. I also learned a lot about illegal aliens and what they went through while reading this book. 4 out of 5 because some parts were sad and like Sherry said I hate it when people tease other people ina story. IT'S SO MEAN!

i have to agree with Sherry. the book was just okay, not great. it was sad and nadira just wallowed in self-pity, which got kind of annoying after a while.
