This is a pretty good book although it got dull at some parts. I didn't like it as much as the two other Lois Lowry books I read (Number the stars and The giver)but still good. 3.5 out of 5 because this book got boring for me at some points.

Great book. Thought it was a litte random but an awsome. It was so sad about John's dad and all. Poor thing. Any way the book totally gets a BIG WHOPPING 5 *****

Lois Lowry is one of my favorite authors, and I like this book too! I could easily picture this in my head, like a movie (with some pretty cool special effects). Although it did get 'blah' in some parts, it's alright in general.

    4.20693 out of 5.
