GOOD BOOK. GOOD BOOK. You kind of need to read Twilight first, though, otherwise it doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

It's not your typical vampire story.

    It's better.

This is a pretty awesome book! You really should read Twilight first. I was kind of confused at one point but I read that chapter over again and then I understood it.

    3 out of 5.

I was bored out of my wits for the first half of the book. In Twilight, there's all this love, but Meyer leads you on for a good half of New Moon. Then come the furballs, and I was on the edge of my seat in Italy. The ending was excellent though, it put Bella in a really exciting spot, and you can only think,

    "What's going to happen next?"

    OH MY GOSH!!!
    This book was so SAD!!!
The beginning was so infuriating! I really wanted something different out of it (namely, more of Edward being gorgeous and perfect and completely irresistable, but that's just me). I think you kind of need to read Twilight first before you read this, just because it makes this book a little bit better.
I liked Twilight a LOT better.
But the ending's pretty good. All I have to say now is:
    WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

    -Shay

    P.S.- Edward's awesome!

OK i absolutely loved this book, but read Twilight first, because it will make it more interesting. I actually liked first half because it really tested their relationship, and you learned more about Jacob. I give it a 7 out of 5 :)

This was THE best book I have ever read. I really think that there should be another one after it, though. 15 out of 5!

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST BOOK I HAVE EVER READ! EVER! I haven't read twilight, but I got the gist of all those parts. Edward was awesome. So was jacob. It kind of makes me want to be a vampire. A must read for anyone ages 11-15.

-P.S. This is the best book i have ever read. Ever. Read it now!!!!

    Steve's rating, 10 to the 500th power. Times 5000000000000000.

Okay people, let's come back to reality now. Sure, this was a great, exciting book [and I like cliffhangers], but I don't think that it's so good it'll win the Newberry. It may win other awards, but I haven't seen a really good fantasy book win this award in a while.

Don't take this the wrong way; I really liked it!

This was one of my favorite books ever. You need to read Twilight first to figure out a few facts, but otherwise it was a really really really great book. Although some parts were a bit sad, it turned out awesome at the end again. Definitely a million stars!!!
