A great book for all middle schoolers if you need a romance for your genre. The characters are super real and the problems are too. I would rate this a 5 out of 5.

I LOVE SHUG!!!!! This book was so cute. Very fun to read. I could not put this book down--i just wanted to keep reading and reading and reading! When I had finished it, even then I didn't want to stop reading. The event that takes place at the very end of the book makes me want Jenny Han to write a sequel to SHUG--or at least another chapter! SHUG was phenominal; the characters act just like friends would--stand up for you sometimes, and at others, act like they don't know you. It's what makes this book so enjoyable to read. ALL of the situations can be related to your own life. I give SHUG 6 stars out of 5. :] haha! I think EVERYONE should read this book--boy or girl, child or adult. This book is for everybody.

I thought Shug is a great story! Being in middle school you can relate to a lot of the problems and events in this story. I read this book in less than 24 hours, I COULDN't PUT IT DOWN! I would definitely recommend this book to ANYONE.
    5/5

I can't get enough of Shug!!!! The ending was a little disappointing because it wasn't , like, happily ever after kinda thing but you can tell that Shug had changed and found real friends. top of my list; YOU HAVE TO READ IT!!!!!

Shug was cute in the beginning and the middle was fine but the end bothered me A LOT!! How could she go with Jack insted of the guy she spent her whole childhood with?? And how could that guy (sorry I cant remember his name) she spent her whole childhood with say that about her!! I don't recomend this book and will not vote for it. this would get a 0 out of 5
